Installation guide
Step 1: Insert the CD-ROM to install the drivers and
application software.
Step 2: Connect USB Video Capture with analog video
source and computer.
Step 3: Open ShowBiz DVD 2 software to capture video and
audio programs into your computer.
Step 4: Edit the recording video audio files with
ShowBiz DVD 2 software.
Step 5: Convert the recording video audio files with
Magic 3 software.
Step 6: Transfer the video audio files to your iPod, PSP,
or 3GP Mobile Phone by iTunes.

First of all you have to determine what kind of output settings your
vhs player has. It will be one of 3 (or a combination of)
-
3 rca sockets. Yellow (video) + white
and red (audio)
-
S-video
-
Scart (most common of the above.)
Important:
Only chose one of the above to connect to the ezcap. Do not connect the
rca leads and the s-video lead at the same time
1. RCA Sockets :- To connect to the ezcap116 you will require a 3 x rca lead
with male to male ends.
2. s-video :-
To connect to the ezcap116 you will require an s-video lead with male to
male ends.
3. Scart :-
To connect to the ezcap116 you will require a scart to 3 x rca lead.
Important: Most scart to rca leads you will see
for sale work from by submitting a signal from rca to scart. This is no good. You need to ensure
the lead is "scart out", (The signal is going from scart to
rca).
We recommend you get a "switchable scart to 3 x phono" lead and set the
little switch to "out". If you already have leads but
you are not getting a picture on the Arcsoft program, it is because they are working in the
wrong direction. Another way to do it is to purchase a switchable scart
to phono adaptor but if you decide to do it this way you will also
require either a 3 x rca lead
with male to male ends or an s-video lead with male to male ends.
Best quality?
One thing to remember is that
your ezcap116 can, at best, only duplicate the quality of the
original video. To ensure you do not lose any quality, we recommend you
purchase decent leads. These are gold plated and better insulated. We

phono lead that comes from your machine.. You connect the splitters to
the lead from your gaming console. You also need
2 of, 3 x rca leads with male to male ends. The 1st lead you connect from the splitters to
the tv and the 2nd lead you connect from the splitters to the ezcap116
